Garth Slough
- Time Period : 10000-3000 B.P.
- Location : Southeastern states.
- Shape : Stemmed
Description:
A small size point with wide, expanded barbs and a small squared base. Rare examples have the tangs clipped (called clipped wing). The blade edges are convex with fine serrations. A similar type of a later time period, called Catahoula, is found in the Midwestern states. A bifurcated base would place it into the Kanawha Stemmed type.
