A medium to large size, thin, auriculate, fluted point with convex sides expanding to a wide, deeply concave base. The hafting area is ground. This point is widest at the base. Fluting can extend most of the way down each face. Multiple flutes are usual. (Warning: The more common resharpened Clovis point is often sold as this type. Redstones are extremely rare and are almost never offered for sale.)
