Description:
A small to medium size, thin, extremely well made, delicate arrow point. Flaking is random. Delicate "U" shaped angled notches that are deeper than those found on Avonlea points. Bases are straight to slightly concave. The high plains first true "arrow point" along with Avonlea. Galt Type I are corner notched removing equal portions of the basal and lateral blade edges. Galt Type II points start at the basal corner and remove the notch on the lateral edge. Galt Type III points are basal notched with the notch starting at the basal corner.
