Description:
A small to medium size, thin, high quality point with shallow notches located close to the base. The earliest form for the type. Carefully controlled parallel flaking was used in the construction. Some examples have basal grinding. The earliest forms of this variety were dart points changing into arrow points at a later time. Believed to be related to the Besant type.
