Description:
A lanceolate point with long, straight to contracting stems. The blades are formed by random percussion and the edges are aligned by non-serial pressure flaking. Shoulders are formed by strong pressure flaking. The residual Hertzian core scars are usually eliminated by finer finish flaking. Stem sides are ground and basal corners are usually rounded. Some points have basal thinning that leaves a slight "lobed" appearance. Cross sections are lenticular and heavy without being "thick".
