Kirk Stemmed-Bifurcated

A medium to large point with deep notches or fine serrations along the blade edges. The stem is parallel sided to expanded and is bifurcated. Believed to be an early form for the type which later developed into Stanly and others. Tennessee examples have a steep bevel on the right side of each blade edge.
