A medium to slightly large size, thick, narrow, lanceolate point with a contracting stem and a concave base. Quality of flaking is governed by the type of material, usually quartzite, slate, rhyolite and shale. Bases can be ground. Believed to be an early form for the type and may be related to the Conerly type.
