Rose Springs Sloping Shoulder
This arrow sized point has a barbless triangular blade. The blade transitions smoothly into a straight, slightly expanding (seldom contracting) stem. Approximately 90% of points examined had well ground stems. This type is usually well made. The point has a lenticular cross section. The age of the point is the same as other Rose Springs or Rosegate material. Named by Dr. C. Melvin Aikens, 1960s. Univ. of Ore.
