Description:
A small size, thin, arrow point that occurs either as stemmed, side notched, triangular and ovate. Most examples are heavily serrated and imitate local styles such as Gunther, Desert, Columbia Plateau, Wallula and other types. The barbed edge, short stemmed variant is locally called a Fern Leaf point. This type has three spellings: Calapooya, Calapooia & Kalapooya.
