Description:
A small to medium sized dart/knife made on a triangular preform and having side notches which begin at the basal corners and range from shallow to as deep as wide. Blade edges may be lightly serrated and the basal edge is straight to slightly convex. This type has been found hafted to foreshafts with sinew and pitch in Utah and New Mexico.
