Description:
A small to medium size, serrated, corner notched point that is usually beveled on one side of each face. The base is usually broken off (fractured) by a blow inward from each corner of the stem. Sometimes the side of the stem and backs of the tangs are also fractured, and rarely the tip may be fractured by a blow on each side directed towards the base. Bases are usually ground and flaking is high quality. Basal and shoulder fracturing also occurs in Abbey, Dovetail, Eva, Kirk, Motley and Snyders. Unfractured forms are called Angelico Corner-Notched in Virginia.
