Description:
A jabbing projection at the tip would qualify for the type. It is believed that perforators were used for tattooing, incising or to punch holes in leather or other materials or objects. Paleo peoples used Gravers for the same purpose. All Archaic and Woodland cultures converted their points into this type. Therefore, most point types could occur in this form.
