Wheeler Excurvate

Description:
A small to medium size, lanceolate point with a deep concave base that is steeply beveled. Some examples are fluted, others are finely serrated and show excellent quality collateral flaking. Most bases are deeply notched but some examples have a more shallow concavity. Basal grinding does occur but is usually absent. The ears on some examples turn inward. Blade edges are excurvate.
