Borax Lake

Borax Lake

Description:
This type has an elongated, triangular blade when pristine with a wide, approximately square stem. Stem sides are often ground. Bases are straight to slightly convex. A very similar point with a concave base is called the Stanislaus Broad Stem. There are narrower versions of both types and they range from the central valley of California to the Pacific Ocean, north into southern Oregon, and sporadically into W. Nevada. Have been found with Crescents.
