Description:
Rebased Clovis points. A later form for the type. A medium to large size, auriculate, fluted, lanceolate point with convex sides and a deep, concave base that is ground. Most examples are fluted on both sides up to about 1/3 the way from the base. The flaking can be random to parallel. Has been found associated with bison and mammoth remains. Clovis is the earliest point type in the hemisphere.
