Description:
A medium to large size, auriculate point with tapered shoulders and broad, weak side notches. Blades edges are usually finely serrated. The base can be concave, lobbed, eared, straight or bifurcated and is ground. Early examples can be fluted. This type developed from the Dalton point and later envolved into other types such as the Pine Tree point.
