Description:
A medium to large size, straight to contracting stemmed point with a straight to concave base. The shoulders are tapered to square and are strong. The stems are narrow to broad. Believed to be related to the earlier Stanly point. The preform is called Bascom. A large cache of Bascom and Savannah River points were found together in South Carolina.
